Bio-Design's Beginnings

Bob Werum

Bio-Design was founded in 1979 by Robert Werum to distribute high quality dietary supplements to Natural and Alternative Healthcare Professionals. David and Kathy WerumIn 1983 David Werum left a career in social work to join the family business as its Northern California sales representative and called on doctors offices for 10 years. In 1990 Kathy, David's wife, joined the business to manage Werum Enterprises' office. Then, in 1993, Robert retired and David and Kathy assumed ownership and full responsibility for the management of Werum Enterprises.

For over 25 years we have worked continually with that same excellent dietary supplements manufacturer. Over many years they have demonstrated their world class expertise in tablet manufacturing. They have maintained Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification, meeting stringent standards established by the FDA for pharmaceutical manufacturers, since long before such standards were required of dietary supplement manufacturers.

Mary LouOur Staff

We have great people who work at Werum Enterprises; they have been with us for many years and keep things light and lively around the office. Mary Lou (right) usually answers the phone (yes, an actual person, not a machine, answers when you call), processes your order and produces an invoice. Ashley (left) and Dana (right) put your order together, double check it, and get it ready for UPS; "same-day" when you call us by Noon Pacific Time.
